I need to buy a small amount of divinycell foam for mounting sail track into an SUP. Doe's anyone know where I can get a few small pieces? Fiberglass supply sells big sheets that cost a ton to ship. What should I do?

you can use wood.
the idea is to build up the surface area that connects with the foam
Any high density foam will work but so will wood...use a lot of filler, but keep the outside of the box porous....

I would call the guys at fiberglass supply, they have sold me a square foot or two on occasion, outside of their website

Fiberglass Supply will sell you whatever you need. I've used them for years. Shipping charges are based on size so the light foam shipping is surprisingly expensive on larger sheets. Still, it works and may be easier and less expensive to source than wood veneer.

LBI in Groton CT has it in 1/4 inch thickness. I bought a small amount while I was rebuilding a Naish wave board and still have a bit left. The stuff is scored in little blocks and backed by a very light fiberglass fabric. You might save shippiing costs if you tell them they can cut it into a more convenient shippable size.
