If I wanted to check the length of my mast + extension to match a specific luff on my Ezzy sails; where exactly do I measure from ? ( top of the pulleys on the extension maybe ? ) |

yes but that wont work often because the luff numbers are printed before the sails are made.
just rig the sail with about 6ins of looseness if it is an Ezzy Wave and measure from pulley to cap and write that measurement on the sail foot.
voila the correct luff length. |

Not sure Ezzy measures this way, but this method works universally regardless of mast.
Measure mast. Then rig sail and downhaul to where you think it should be. Measure the distance from the bottom of the mast to the front edge of the sail pulley. This eliminates variations in distance markings across different extension brands. _________________ Support Your Sport. Join US Windsurfing!

Good trick dan.
Be sure to mark on the sail bottom. |
