Yeah, it was nice to get on the water after sailing only once in August. Tuesday was good. Wednesday was better. Both 3.7 days for me. |

I loved it. Pleny of parking at cheap and I knew everybody there. Was on my lunch, should have stayed longer. So far the best sept I can remember. LOL |

Yes it was a very nice surprise. The interesting thing is, I was driving to The Dalles in the late afternoon and all the spillways were closed. No current to speak of in the river, at least in the afternoon. Yet the swell was pretty good once the wind started honking. |

They always close the spillways on september 1 when they don't need the river flow for fish. They'll re-open April 1. Total flow right now is about average for september. |
