+1 for learning Vulcans in your 40s! It`s never too late to get better.
To me the best windsurfer on the water is the one having the most fun. But it`s gotta get boring BAFing all day long, year after year. It`s no wonder so many windsurfers turn to kiting.
Freestyle can be anything other than a regular jibe. Doesn`t have to be hard. Getting bored? Try a duck jibe, easiest jibe there is and can be learned in a couple of sessions. Fall off a plane? Try quick pivot jibes. Jibe on a swell but don`t switch your feet and try sailing toeside. Way more fun than backside.
Brettn, I feel your pain with flakas. Three years for me and no real improvement. But I`m not giving up! |

Regarding the flaka, I humbly suggest ABK and Wyatt Miller for flaka help. Trying to free my mind of everything but the actual instruction also helps. Do what I'm told! Amazing how that works. Thanks Mom.

Sweet "learning to loop at the delta" picture you posted. Sure looks to me like "learned to loop." |
