Bard, if the Republicans fail then conservatives win.
We are being marginalized by the GOP, not the hapless Dems.
There once was a liberal moderate and conservative wing in both parties, but the Teas and to a lesser extent the evangelists want moderates out.
The American public moved Right, so that moved the Dems right.
If more conservatives stopped amusing themselves by hating every move Obama makes we could be effective voices in that party
And inventing things he didn't ever do in the end to hate him about.

Ocare has problems but that is barely interesting news at the moment.
Right now conservatives could be very effective against Ocare but the Teas are once again giving Obama a pass by governing so badly and dominating the Fox News cycle.
One thing I am reading more often is that he could have never done this well without the Teas constantly boosting him up like this. He esp. needed help with his poll numbers and they eagerly obliged and are celebrating in their bubble.

Good post Pointster. Here's a great quote from Bill O. music to my ears.
.."The Republican Party finds itself in trouble -- big trouble. Obamacare is not going to be defunded, and the GOP will have to make a deal with the president. And you know who's most happy about this? Hillary Clinton, that's who. Hard-right Americans should understand that Democrats will win next year's midterm elections and the presidency of 2016 if the Republican party does not begin to solve problems."

The Leprechaun speaks! However most conservatives know we can't have Palin or Bachman selling Republican lipstick. It's about time we find a real man to kick some Hillary Booty. Don't ask me who...

Who?

Just kidding, it's waaaay to early to even speculate, hell, Hillary might not even run, but she does love the attention that she currently enjoys, but that might be all that she's willing to accept for now, just the attention, and nothing else.
I think she'd like to be a grandmother more than anything else.

She can only win with Republican help, just like Obama.
Does anyone vote for these Dems or are they just voting against Bush and Romney, Cruz, Palin, and government shutdowns.
If the GOP regained its senses what would the Dems do to get votes?

Fear has worked very well for the Bush folks for a long time, but the public is hard to sell the idea that Soccer Moms are scary like Bin Laden.
That is just not working like it did.
They are desperately trying to make those fear points about Ocare but once it rolls out they know they are lost.
Ocare is gonna be b o r I n g and just make these guys look fools again.
When conservatives and liberals look at their respective party platforms together, they can hardly tell them apart.
It is only the fake media telling you the other side has a secret agenda to destroy the country that divides us.
I printed the GOP platform here and many libs applauded it.
There are lots of fiscal conservatives among liberals.
Not one wants to pay more taxes.
Not one wants to give a dime to some guy refuses to work.
Not one wants to see gov, waste or ever increasing welfare roles.
Not one single one.

If conservatives were smart enough rejoin the Dems, they could gain control of their agenda through democracy.
Boehner will not allow a vote because too many conservative Congressmen still represent their constituency and will restart the democratic process.
And the gov.
