Gee, does this mean I can't call John Boehner a tangerine-faced douchebag on the Forum? 8:40 Pacific, let's see how long this lasts! _________________ Spennie the Wind Junkie

Those who enjoy being trolls will love the Sailing Anarchy forums.
Hopefully they are going there now. |

Well, mine's an obvious joke, maybe they see that and don't care. Or maybe they agree with me. _________________ Spennie the Wind Junkie

Even among sunburned veteran windsurfers, Boehner would stand out for having a very strange complexion... |

At the risk of being banned from iW forever, George, might I be so bold as to inquire about New Rule #17? What country are most of us in?
I have fought like a mad dog for #1 since the turn of the century (276 posts and several letters to Weatherflow, all for naught until now*), and am overjoyed to see it promised ... again ... if it is actually enforced this time.
* Let me guess: some Weatherflow attorney saw my recent explanation of why they can be held liable for libelous posts.
But # 17? REALLY? In the free world? We can't discuss the rules? Hell, we could discuss/debate/whine about/appeal rules even in the armed forces.
And as for #3 ... Some screen name parodies have been funny. What's with that one?
And what unwritten rule got one of my posts deleted yesterday? I made a factual and highly relevant observation about the extremely personal content of another's POST, and it was zapped. Do your moderators not distinguish between posts and posters? |

How about a rule requiring those who whine about the rules being required to moderate for an extended period? |

Get rid of the political thread it has no place here. I chat on several other forums. Masskiting, kiteforum.com, and even Ikitesurf and none of them offer a political thread. I used to post over there but no longer do and never will again.
There are plenty of forums where folks can bash each other over politics but does it make sense on a windsurfing forum . |

If I post to this lousy place again outside the specific interview thread, would somebody please shoot me? They're deleting my and others' posts right and left for absolutely no apparent reason. I put way too much thought and time into my posts to put up with this. Rules are fine ... if they're clear and understandable. These are not. |

isobars, like I pointed out earlier under a different thread, "be careful what you wish for". As I recollect, you have been quite critical of iWindsurf in the past about their moderation policy, or lack of one in your view. Now, it looks to me that you will need to throttle back a bit and consider the rules a bit when posting. The way that I look at it, that will be a good thing for many of us.
