I recall that one was clever: "Piqued Puffoon". I admired that. None were complimentary, though (please send a link if otherwise.)

Google 'em.

No need. You've never done it. Can't google for something that doesn't exist (and what would I search for, anyway?)

Where are you facts, evidence, and proof? Your claim of many complimentary riffs is baseless, I say.

I think you should sit pretty with Piqued Puffoon and call it a day.

Good God, Michael. Just Google the actual words I used, as I did.
Honest to God, man; I just don't understand the attitude of people here. I've never met any flesh and blood people like this group.

C'MON moderators. Please stop this stuff.

If you had just stuck with dirtbikes, none of this would be necessary.

I'm being straightforward and direct. And challenging something you said. You wrote "...many of my riffs on "Peconic Puffin" were complimentary." I have never seen one, much less "many", and you'll have to excuse me but I doubt their existence. Meanwhile I've cut you a lot of slack about the name insults over the years...laughing at the funny one, more or less ignoring the others, like "puking puffoon" found here:
http://www.iwindsurf.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23843&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=puking&start=30

It would take very little time to round up a collection of names you've mangled in an uncomplimentary manner. That would be boring for all of us. I suggest you simply be nicer, and don't claim past niceties and then complain when someone asks you to prove it.

Be nice.

Very Happy Very Happy

Here's how to determine the meaning of a word:
Open Google.
Type the word you do not understand into the little window.
Hit SEARCH or ENTER.
Read the resulting page.

Here's the list you say does not exist and a lead to its source. You even ADMIT you saw the ones I've used in the same paragraph in which you deny it: " I have never seen one, much less "many", and you'll have to excuse me but I doubt their existence [IOW, you're calling me a liar again despite proof to the contrary]. You know the ONLY way to enjoy these new rules is to NOT continue to engage each other in arguments that neither opponent will ever acknowledge the other as the winner.

I find that if I CHOOSE NOT to reply to everything Iso posts, then I never get aggravated. In fact, I find his self back patting humorous most of the time. You guys (and this is quite a few of you) really need to just NOT reply to him. Then he can have a one sided argument with himself at worse, or at best perhaps the message boards will return to windsurfing and not Iso and anti-Iso bashing. This of course applies to Iso as well, but I know he will never give up getting the last word, so it is up to the rest of us....

This whole, or hole(depending on how you look at it) interview "Hey look at isobars" thing has been such a train wreck. I threw up an early red flag that got deleted. It certainly doesn't make me any better for it because I've been a major participant all along. It's really made me realize how screwed up we ALL are. Sorry to alienate a whole bunch a people with that but with all of this "you said, I said" shit, it only made me cross reference to how screwed up our government has been with all the finger pointing during this shut down shit. We're just as screwed up as they are. Maybe even worse since nobody's lining our pockets for it! I'm just glad that this forum wasn't around in my heyday of sailing a few times a week. All I had was a phone (land line-windtalker) and a weather radio. If I had gotten involved with all this negative energy back then I probably would have quit. It's no wonder that there are so many "watchers" lurking in the background here, reluctant to participate.
That being said, I'm most likely done with this forum. It's been swell but it's ridden its course. Happy sailing to all and I wish you well! Even you isobars.
Moderators, before you delete this message is there any way of deleting ALL my posts as well?
Ya I know, don't let the door hit ya on the way out....Wink
Thanks!
Noshuz

Noshuzbluz states what many must surely feel. That 'hey, look at isobars' interview thing has, in retrospect, further damaged the forum. I think we all notice how many once active contributors have simply given up, and moved on.

Most who are older, and have long experience of our sport will have seen the same thing happen at some windsurfing, and surfing venues. A few, (or sometimes just a single), domineering individuals 'take over' and destroy 'the vibe.' Many then simply avoid that place.

I realise that the moderators have a difficult balancing act to perform but, by trying to prevent people from forcibly expressing their frustration at what they see going on, may not be the right way to control an issue. Lack of 'withering' criticism will simply allow the guilty individual to 'have it all his own way, and play the victim, and milk it for all it's worth.

I think that has now become the case.
