Some opposing forces at work here.....
Quad fins suggests early planing, limited topspeeds.
Tunnel hull us usually reserved for high top speeds, balkish planing.
Can the two together cancel each other out, making a flat bottom better for top speeds and a slight full concave better for acceleration?
Hard chines on the bottom, at the tunnel inverted V, need some power to overcome the added drag, but once up on a plane, tends to give less wetted surface and good for top speeds.
Then again, you have the 4 fins....... |

That will be up to da Reef Warriors. Headed to Toronto on Friday and then to 'da Reef' on Saturday night - hoping that I don't wake up with a tattooed face and a tooth missing! |
