BB outs himself. As essentially a John Bircher. His rant is taken nearly verbatim from http://www.theguardian.com/politics/series/the-backbencher, without, of course, attribution. Or changing enough details to make it difficult to find out where he found it. Back Bencher is one of the avatars of the Guardian. In other words, he is directly channeled into the new organization that thinks it is journalism to work as part of a party, and perfectly ok to tap the phones of the parents of a murder victim and bribe the police.
Integrity and credibility are over rated.
Windoggie--maybe your best post ever. I'm in awe. |

How many innocent Iraqis, including women and children, were killed by Dick Cheney's terrorists?
. |
The difference is of course that Western nations go out of their way to avoid collateral damage to civilians to the point of causing casualties to our own troops while terrorists purposely target innocent civilians.
Terrorists know this and hide behind innocent civilians.
If we wanted to just kill innocent civilians it would be quite easy to just bomb their cities indiscriminately, a tactic I would endorse, if we are going to be incorrectly blamed for it might as well just do it, this is how we brought an end to WW2. |

Heh, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's lots more media types and international (even oil) types not even listed there. |

Bard, why not list wealthy Republican business folks too? We all know that they're out there actively fighting for conservative causes and funding Republican candidates. I'm willing to bet there are more Republicans than Democrats. Also, it would be interesting to see the broad array of businesses they run and represent. I'm sure that the contrast would shed some light on where their interests lie. |

Bard that is hilarious
It is mostly a list of present and former entertainment execs.
Each company has hundreds of execs and some of them surely must be Dems, though not always Dems who support Obama.
Do they really control Wall Street?
Did you remember to list all the hedge guys? There are thousands of them alone. How about ins. And banks?
Among the stuff I hear from Talk, the idea that Wall Street is mostly hard left Obama supporters is really uh ......surprising.
Did Bama bail out the movie business?and Def Jam What the hell is that?
Part of Bank of America?
Did he bail out Costco? |

Who were the thousands of guys who paid $35,000 a plate at hundreds of fundraisers to elect Obama? School teachers?
Some of the things Obama has done
1) Carried out military interventionism in Libya without Congressional approval
In June 2011, U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) said that Obama had violated the Constitution when he launched military operations in Libya without Congressional approval.
2) Gave a no-bid contract to Halliburton – just like Bush did
In May 2010, it was reported that the Obama administration had selected KBR, a former subsidiary of Halliburton, for a no-bid contract worth as much as $568 million through 2011, just hours after the Justice Department had said it would pursue a lawsuit accusing the Houston-based company of using kickbacks to get foreign contracts.
3) Has an administration full of lobbyists, after promising he wouldn’t have any
While running for President, Obama had promised that, unlike Bush, he would not have any lobbyists working in his administration. However, by February 2010, he had more than 40 lobbyists working in his administration.
4) Has close ties to Wall St., but pretends to support Occupy Wall St.
Although Obama claims to support the Occupy Wall St. movement, the truth is that he has raised more money from Wall St. than any other candidate during the last 20 years. In early 2012, Obama held a fundraiser where Wall St. investment bankers and hedge fund managers each paid $35,800 to attend. In October 2011, Obama hired Broderick Johnson, a longtime Wall Street lobbyist, to be his new senior campaign adviser. Johnson had worked as a lobbyist for JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Fannie Mae, Comcast, Microsoft, and the oil industry.
5) Broke his promise to close Guantanamo Bay |
