nope I think there is a difference here, one a government worker definition of project management and a non gov.
If they would have done it right the first time one would have worked in 1 year or less. But they did not it did not work for over 5 years. and 100,000 worker and 2 billion dollars in 1945, when started the budget was $6,000.00.
same with the laser. The laser took them over 30 years none of the ones before worked but were needed to get to one that finally worked.

The facts are unlikely to affect those living in the bubble--but will matter in 2016. Here's what Obama has accomplished:
Unemployment rate under George W. Bush: end of term—4.2% when he took office, 7.8 when he left.
Under Obama: 7.8% when he took office, rose to 10%, now at 5%
Job creation in the private sector under Bush: loss of 462,000 jobs
Job creation in the private sector under Obama: 8.89 million increase
Corporate profits have nearly tripled under Obama—from 671 billion to $1.8 trillion
Number of Federal employees before Obama took office: 4.21 million. Number of employees in 2014—4.19 million
George Bush, unlike Bill Clinton, never ran a surplus, and the deficit his last year in office was about 500 billion. The deficit increased to 1.48 trillion in 2009, and is now down to $1.14 trillion
Cost of gasoline in 2008 n $3.25 million. Currently under $3.
Violent crime rates rose then fell during Bush’s term, from 1.36 million in 2004, increasing to 1.42 million in 2006, declining to 1.38 million in 2008, and continuing that decline to 1.16 million in 2014.
Before Obama, there were between 42 and 46 million in this country—the richest on earth—without health insurance. That was 15.7% of the population, and had huge costs to local and state government. That has now declined to 9.2% of the population.
The efforts of the Republican Party? Dozens of futile efforts to repeal Obama care, and is now 7 investigations of Benghazi? They can't even agree on a highway bill.
I could add figures for alternative energy and energy efficiency--measures that have helped keep the overall cost of energy down and explain why the Koch's and mrgybe hate Obama so much--but you get the drift. |

mac, you forgot all the wonderful foreign policy achievements!
Al-Qaeda is on the run.
Iraq is now fully in charge of their own destiny.
ISIS is just a JV team.
A red line has been drawn in the sand of Syria so peace is at hand.
We have safe diplomats in Libya.
There is peace in Afghanistan.
The relationship between Israel and the USA has never been better.
Putin is running in fear of Obama.
Gitmo is closed.
The southern border is now under control.
And most of all, we finally have a great "no nuke forever" deal with Iran which has been celebrated in the streets of the USA.
Maybe Obama will get a peace medal! |

And consider all the people who rejoice in Obama's presidency, such as Putin, Assad, thousands of Mohammed Mohammed al Mohammeds, whatever runt is currently in charge of North Korea, mac, 17 GOP candidates, the 49% of Americans living on all or largely on unearned welfare while paying no taxes (a single mother of two in Hawaii is given 40,000 tax-free dollars every year, and millionaires with incomes under $80k can get mortgage handouts in Kansas) ... the list of his supporters is endless. And unless enough voters realize in 2016 that this is unsustainable, the nation is in deep -- some smart people say irrecoverable in our lifetime -- shinola. |

NW, you are hysterical as well as silly. It is true that Obama has not been able to stuff the evils back in the Pandora's box that Bush and Cheney opened in invading Iraq. It is also true that the GOP prevented closure of Gitmo, so I guess you can blame Obama. After all, the GOP has done almost nothing except dog whistle. But the silliest part is Iran.
Iran starting building up their centrifuges during Bush's administration. Cheney wanted to bomb them, using nukes. Bush told him to sit in the corner and shut up, he had done enough damage. When Obama took office, Iran had over 5500 centrifuges enriching uranium, with more on the way--nearly 8700 by the end of 2009. They were approaching the capacity to build a nuclear weapon, and our utter failure in both Afghanistan and Iraq demonstrated the futility of anything short of an invasion with perhaps 250,000 troops. The diplomatic agreement reached because Obama did not go it alone limits Iran to 6,000 centrifuges, and sets the rest of their program back about ten years. http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2015/07/14/422920192/6-things-you-should-know-about-the-iran-nuclear-deal
Other than blather and dog whistle, the critiques from the right are anger that they didn't negotiate, complaints that it is not permanent, and the obvious fact that nobody trusts Iran. That's why the key aspects are verifiable. Another success for Obama, and Kerry, that sticks in the craw of the militarists. |

mac, you really could have saved yourself a lot of time by just saying those famous three words.
"It's Bush's fault". |

The short version is, when you elect people of profound mediocrity, and they implement really stupid Republican policies, you end up kicking over hornet's nests in the Middle East. All the fools that created those problems have signed up for one of the current clowns. And fools like NW don't pay attention. |

How about, "You're a racist"?
New internet slang: YAR. It would save mac hours of typing. |

It's like he has one of those plastic dart guns, where you have to lick the suction cup in order to make it stick.
mac, we know what you have in your arsenal, it's plastic, and unfortunately it's non-biodegradable, you should be ashamed.
Bush darts, one dozen for only $.50! Get them while they last!!!!
Caution, use at you own risk of a self inflicted stick. |
