swc, if it's coming from the courts, that's a good thing, just trying to preserve the Constitution. You know, that little piece of paper that gets in the way of most liberals.

I think that you would have a much different opinion of the courts if the Supreme Court had a 5 to 4 liberal majority. As far as the US Constitution is concerned, the activist positions that the conservative majority has championed has hardly been in concert with the framer's original intent. Corporations are people? Now money plays a much bigger role influencing what happens in our government. Most of the time our representatives and senators are patently pandering for money to the exclusion of working on legislation and managing the people's business.

Oh but of course.

Back to the state of the union show and talent review tonight.
So Iran just took two of our navy vessels, arresting 10 sailors in the process today.
According to the press BHO was going to tout the Iranian deal at part of his wonderful accomplishments tonight. This would be what, the 5th time Iran has already violated the deal, with no response from the administration. Iranian frozen assets are to be released starting next week, wonderful timing, a fine deal.

Will BHO mention the 10 sailors that Iran has arrested tonight, or will he just go ahead, tout the deal as if nothing has happened?
Maybe he should just not mention Iran at all.

No surprises, the denial of a failed foreign policy was on full display.
He touts the deal w/o any mention of the sailors.

And it gets worse~

If we had a decent relationship with Iran, they would have helped us repair our boat(s) and sent us on our way, but no.
Anybody see the vid that Iran released to the press today showing the arrest of our Navy sailors? Talk about humiliation, that is what friends and/or allies don't do.

And there is more~

In other words, GIVE US OUR MONEY, AMERICAN BASTARDS!!!

Thank you BHO and John Chamberlin, oops I mean Kerry for your fantasy land.

From the WSJ: "The Terrorists Freed by Obama"
The president has misled the American people about the detainees released from Guantanamo: Dozens are jihadists ready to kill. Here are some of the major points, backed up in the long report by extensive evidence.

• The president's own task force concluded that the detainees Obama inherited were all high-risk jihadis, not the goat farmers Obama claims they are.

• Detainees transferred by the Obama (and many more by Bush's) administration have gone back into the fight, and some have become senior al Qaeda leaders.

• Guantanamo is not a “recruitment brochure” for jihadists.

• We're talking about hundreds of hard core jihadi warfighters and leaders freed for purely political reasons despite their potential to kill thousands (we HOPE it's merely thousands, not thousands OF thousands) of Americans.

Yet as recently as last month the president is still lying about the detainees.

A somewhat more sane take. He's done well with the hand he was dealt.http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/01/obama-biggest-achievements-213487

Fed says it might raise interest rates in March.........market tumbles. GDP growth flat-lining and Japan lowers rates making March Fed action less likely........market soars. See any connection? As for awkward last sentences, mine seemed clear.....as always, I am concerned about our gullible youngsters. Yours, however, was incomprehensible.
