Consensus suggests that there are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world (23% of the worlds population). Consensus suggests that 7% are "radical", which equals 144 million Muslims world wide that if possible, would blow just about any American up in a second.

How many radicals live in the US?

This is disconcerting to some. I am not one that has issues with Muslims in the US, but radical Muslim terrorism will not go away in the US.

You're right.

I think you mean "idol."

But maybe this idol has too much idle time.

(p.s. If the government taxed this idle idol at 101% of his income, then he couldn't afford the toys and distractions that belong in adult hands.) Wink

That's is an interesting number I can't find online.
If those 7% think America is ruled by Satan, that is a much smaller number of crazies than in the US.
Do you think Americans who believe the US is ruled by Satan would also blow up Satan if they get a chance?

I question the Satan percentages you posted and find it a bit bazar that you keep pushing the theory.

The only American terrorists that are blowing up things that I know of are those that have become radical Muslims.

I am sure that there are plenty of Americans that have said that our leader is Satan, but I doubt there are very many that actually believe it.

A Public Policy Poll asked if Obama was Satan. 13% of respondents said yes. Another 14% were not sure. 72% said no.
The yes group included 20% of conservatives. One in five.
This group of people has joined the terrorist leadership in their crazy beliefs.
The search turns up many websites devoted solely to this "truth" , including videos of satanic hand signs etc. given by Obama and his administration.

This key belief, along with polls showing that more than Fifty percent of Americans hate or dislike Muslims in general , is widely repeated in the Muslim world as support for terrorism.
Try entering poll Obama satan to see lots of support for this idea among Americans.

Let's speculate and say there were 100 people in the poll. 13% said Obama was Satan which is 13 people. Of those 13 people, 20% were conservatives, so.........

2.6%/people in the poll were conservatives that believe that Obama is Satan. Not a very strong argument.

That begs the question, what political affiliation did the 80%/10.4 people) of the believers belong to? Maybe there are more liberals than conservatives that believe Obama is Satan?

Have you checked the poll? It is much better than imagining it if truth matters.

I can't post links here but you would be well served by a search. You will find several things that you won't believe if I post them.

This was a poll done by a pro organization with more than 1200 respondents . Does it matter if more conservatives believe this nonsense? If I recall it was 20% of conservatives and 6% of liberals. Only about 73% were sure he wasn't.

Remarkable that so many Americans are unknowingly aligning themselves with AlQuada. They are not fighting Satan, but AlQuada IS fighting satan, according to these two groups shared beliefs.

All I did was respond to your posted numbers and made the observation that they didn't support your theory.

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/2011/PPP_Release_National_ConspiracyTheories_040213.pdf

"There is an intense partisan divide on whether or not global warming is a hoax: 58% of Republicans agree that it is a conspiracy, while 77% of Democrats disagree. 20% of Republicans believe that President Obama is the Anti-Christ, compared to 13% of independents and 6% of Democrats who agree."

And 99% of liberals (left wingers) often believe what people reply to left wing loaded questions in many opinion polls.

It is a source of amusement to us conservatives (with a small c) when opinion polls just before an election predict a landslide victory for Labour (left wing/socialist party), yet when it comes to the actual result, where votes count, the opposite is often so.

But that is what comes of a left wing biased media (BBC/Guardian most obvious) who seem to think wishing is reality.

An internal investigation at the BBC has finally had to admit to institutional left wing bias, as if everybody didn't already know!
