| I tried, but I couldn't stay awake, "Baseball" or what ever it was called, "The Dust Bowl", and the "Civil War" were much better by Ken Burns, this one, not so much. |

Non-fiction TV is meant as background noise, IMO. Ya has it on while doing something else, and if something catches yer ear, ya pay attention or even rewind a bit if necessary. The whole first episode occupied maybe 10 minutes of my consciousness, I picked up some interesting tidbits about the Roosevelts, and I made some progress on a shop project. Life's too short and TV is too slowly paced to actually sit down and watch any TV show without doing at least one other thing else simultaneously, and that's especially true of documentaries.
Does anybody read my (or mac's) posts without a good book, PBS, food, or an elliptical machine at hand? |

| Ken Burn's "The Roosevelts" is a very insightful series for folks with a mind and interest for history. There's absolutely no doubt, the Roosevelts had a huge impact on America in so many important ways. Overall, you have to give PBS credit for supporting and airing such noteworthy projects. |
