I think it's fair to say the 11'8 Wind Sup is a hit, but what about its little brother, the 10' Wind Sup?
I've read a few things about the board but don't have a good read on it. I know it doesn't slog as well as the 11'8 but that's understandable, what else?
BTW, I ride swell outside the break and absolutely love the 11'8 for this. I'd want to use the 10' in the same fashion, wondering if it would be better...

the 10 foot wind SUP has many of the same traits as the 11'5. yet, it turns a bit snappier. not much, since the original carbon 11'5 is lighter.

the 10' is easier to launch and land.

it does require about the same timing and placement in really light wind as the 11'5.

tops out only 2-3 mph in conditions. slightly higher than the other long boards.

tops out way sooner than the 10'5.

get a 10'5 carbon if you can find one.

my comments to outhaul are within a context of we having lots of messages off this board.

the 10 footer is a great all around board as the 11'8. it does not grab waves as early, nor as off the wind as the 11'8. it turns better than the 11'8, but needs to be more powered or placed in the steeper part of a wave in order to grab them.

sure wish the dagger board was an option, rather than std......

read the HS link. rounding up? not enough mast foot pressure.

fin i used in the waves the most: 38cm like the original kona one fin. sometimes a 32cm free ride fin.
