I just bought a pair of these yesterday.., but i am wondering if they have too much going on for windsurfing.

Is anyone here using them?

Do they go into straps easily?

I HATE split toe booties for windsurfing, they hurt at the split, when shoved into the straps, but I LOVE them for surfing or SUPing.
Round toe booties only, for windsurfing for me.

I agree. Unless you really want a split toe, I recommend the Oneil superfreak 2mm round toe botties.

I on the other hand disagree. I have no problem with the fit or them bothering my feet and it gives you better feel for the board. I prefer the summer model (low top) cause it is thinner and you can really feel the board. I only wear the high top (3mm) version when I have to. If you want a real thin bootie you can also try the Ninja bootie. It is also split toe and very thin, but only comes in a high top version.

Oh yeah I've been using them for a long, long time, and love them. I go through one of the summer weight ones about every 1 to 2 years....

They are OK for me. I start the fall bootie season and finish spring season with them. They provide better feel of the board and quite easy to put into the straps. Sometimes I get the front of the strap cought in the split. Not a big deal but can be sensitive Smile

Also fist place they start leaking is right in the split. Easy to fix though...till next time... Laughing .

Kinda depends on feet width and preferences.
I used split toes for 27 years of windsurfing, after 20 years of surfing.
3 years ago, bought some round toes and love them.
Warmer, easy in, straps can be smaller.

Footprints and fingerprints. Probably the most unique body parts for us all. Atans work better for me than any other split toe I've tried, that is as long as you're not looking for a shoe like sole. They're the closest thing to being barefoot without being barefoot that I've found.

Split Toes Rule! I've used these for years in the Gorge, where the rocks
are nasty, and they are not "too much" for me. I do only get about a
season (70ish days) out of them before they wear out though.
