I'm getting my 12 and 7 yr old boys into windsurfing this season. Anyone know of a camp or anyone who is thinking of setting up a camp or group lesson in the Socal Area?
Nothing wrong with lessons from a windsurf shop such as Kirk's, but I figured a camp with many other beginners especially kids will make it less intimidating and more fun for the kids.

Eva has been doing "camps" for kids (and adults) up at Lake Isabella for the last couple of years. She's amassed a good collection of beginner gear and even a simulator. It makes a good weekend camping trip, and the water is usally nice and warm, so you don't even need wetsuits.
DISCLAIMER: There isn't much water in the lake. I'll wait for the boardlady herself to let us know whether or not the clinics will be happening this year. |

Thank you all for your input. If any of you could post here if or when that event happens that would be great!
