Interesting article from Chris Jackson about asymmetric boards and fin set ups - http://www.blackprojectfins.com/2014/04/14/is-it-time-for-a-fresh-take-on-asymmetric-boards/

?Am I missing something?
I like to think that I know what an asymmetric board looks like, aka a "can opener" or something of that genre.

I plan to experiment with asymmetrical fins on my wave-oriented twinzer windSUP in the Gorge simply because I carve harder and more often on port than on starboard when under sail. Sort of "one fin to play on, one to get back upwind on".

Looks like a nice board and a great concept for those who mainly sail one spot.

Putting different size thrusters on a tri-fin also looks like a good way to get a different feel. Here is a blog post on someone who went even further and used an asymmetric fin set up with a quad.
