Will future races be run as slalom as well (vs. formula courses)?

YES- more slalom races to come this summer!

Here's the Friday Night Schedule:
April 4 & 18, May 2, 16, & 30, June 13 & 27, July 11 & 25, August 8 & 22, September 5 & 19

We decide to run slalom if 2 things happen. The wind cooperates and we have volunteers for rc.
If the day before a scheduled race, the wind looks like it will be good for slalom- we'll issue a 24 hour notice to racers to be prepared for slalom- both here and on https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/san-francisco-slalom-racing


Ideally- several volunteers have already been identified and a rc team is assembled.

Friday afternoon at 4 of a scheduled race- the final call will be made to run slalom or regular upwind/downwind racing- depending on wind.

5pm skippers meeting at the wind sock at crissy if we do slalom.

If you'd like to help out with the RC- we need 2-3 people per evening.

No chance of slalom this week with a lack of volunteers for RC.
Next chance is on July 11.
