After you called me a gizmo I have searched in vain for a bigoted expression to call Canadians. I came up empty.
Is there really no hate group that attacks Canucks?
You guys are among the most well thought of nationalities among travelers.
Stiil there has to be someone like Iso out there who calls you guys a stupid name intended to insult.
You got pie? American Pie?
Gybe may not come. When I tried some delicious looking in pie in England it was served cold and had animal guts in it.
(Apologies GT)

I say I've never met anyone in person in my whole life that behaves like many of these guys do. Why start now? |

Iso,
I went to a movie the other night and splurged on some popcorn....(I never went to university or was burdened by student debt).... I had some left over. I'll let you have some.
Better yet, next time I'm in HR I'll look you up, treat you to a movie and some "fresh" popcorn. |

Hoser? As expletives go that seems pretty mild.
Seems like the Frogs have a lot more bite with tabernac.
By the way what should I call a French Canadian if I am drunk in some dive in Vancouver and he inadvertently glances at my sister? |

Hoser is also a mild epithet in Wisconsin and Minnesota. I guess it means loser in hockey. |

A good gritty "Ta-ber-nac" ought to see chairs and glasses flying.....which reminds me of New Year's Eve in Tremblant....but that's another story.

I just looked up derogatory terms to call Canadians. Yahoo answers led to a response that calling a Canadian an American is a derogatory statement.... I laughed out loud when I read that! |

Looking forward to the movie, but would feel guilty eating something with a markup of 806% even if someone else is paying for it.
Then there's the carbs (four times the carbs I eat each day), the sat fat (at least 10 times what most Americans should eat in a day), the trans fats (our daily healthy limit is zero), the calories (many people's healthy daily total), and the smell (theater "butter's" smell is pretty close to that of vomit, IMO).
Then there's the new Winnebago and maybe the Outback I bought instead with the saved money.
Ahhh, youth! It's so blissful ... and then ya die ... in this case, of self-inflicted diabetes now beyond endemic in the U.S. and becoming pandemic in countries hosting MacDonald's.
Is one tub gonna kill us? Not unless it clogs that last tiny artery passage, which happens. But it's easier for me to go cold turkey than to decide every day, "Can I eat $#!+ just this one time ... huh ... can I? Can I?"
Oh, yes ... I almost forgot: |
