PWA reviewed whether team sailing between Mussimilani brothers caused Sylvain to intentionally crash into Josh at outside jibe mark. Josh jibed super-tight in 3rd place and Sylvain appeared to straighten-up and either hit Josh directly or his board. Sylvain continued on as did Cyril but Josh took some time to get going, none of the three advanced. Josh protested for dangerous sailing or intentional crash (not sure) but judges seemed to take it a step further to examine team sailing. No finding of any violation, just a racing incident.

Heavy duty.

The whole slalom thing for those guys is full-on heavy
The team concept is interesting though, and has been certainly used/abused in bike racing.

I thought it funny when Josh used a trainer who trains the Boston Bruins, but i guess he was thinking ahead. Slalom is hockey

Yeah, when you invest thousands merely to get to the starting line and find your earnings tied to finishing in the top 3, it's no surprise the degree of "interest" expressed during the races.

If slalom is hockey -very similar times of actual racing and an NHL shift- maybe hockey training makes a ton of sense. Either way, just getting off our asses when not windsurfing makes the actual sailing much more enjoyable.
