Free freestyle clinic at 11 am at the HR Waterfront Park, the CGWA will have a bbq out, and we'll hit the water afterwards too. Hope to see everybody there!

Freestyle Clinic with Phil Soltysiak at the Waterfront Park a success

September 3rd, 2014

Canadian freestyle windsurfer and Starboard team rider Phil Soltysiak hosted a free clinic at the Hood River Waterfront Park on Saturday August 30th. With around 30 participants showing up on the cloudy and wet morning, Phil covered everything from freestyle equipment and beginner freestyle to advanced moves like shakas and back loops.

Phil’s next free clinics will be held at East Coast Windsurfing Festival in Cape Cod, at the Toronto Windsurfing Club in Toronto, and in Barrie with the Barrie Windriders.
