Am I the only one who's thinking about tomorrow?
After last week's big talk about going out in the NE'r, I did get a lunch time nooner close to home. OK on a 5.0; but not quite as spectacular as the surf lately.
Have you ever seen a grown man cower? PK did watching me Sunday night. Some lady said it must have been fun out there. Politely I replied, are you sh!tt!ing me, those overhead waves pounding on the bar sound like bombs going off. 2 bikers chuckled because they knew the score. Monday morning with some solid chest + high sets and a little more water made all the difference. After a full session of going left PK, I went over to the rights and nailed 4 fantastic rides all on my own. Kalmus Frank knows the score too.
Speaking of Kalmus - I might use up some va-ca and head on up.
Have you ever seen a grown man cry. I did when I had to go back to work at noon on Hurricane Eddy big Wednesday. For me the best day of surfing yet. JE and PK knew what went down with that selfie posted elsewhere.
It's late. If Sindad is looking down, please proof read this

Looks like today was the day wind wise. Blowing 30 CT to RI to MASS.
Had a really nice sail in RI yesterday, not epic, but SUMMER!!!, and pretty darn good. 5 to 6 meter sails depending on sailor size.

Six days in a row of 20-30+ winds here! Can't remember the last time this has happened in Long Island Sound. Warm and sunny to boot! |

Yes today I should have sailed!!!! Windy all day! But I wasted time yesterday because of the forecast that never really happened in Chatham.
Bla Bla Bla Bla!!!
Ebola is going to kill us all so lets just sail before it does!!!

Well, it wasn't epic, but I did get on the water today for some big sail/slalom board stuff in Boston harbor. For those who sail in the harbor at pleasure bay, beware that some of the moorings have 8-10 feet of thick line hanging off of them (not the mooring lines themselves, I'm smart enough to avoid those) that can cause aggressive catapults Looked like horseneck would have been nice today . . . |

thurs.pm finally did turn SW as predicted at west dennis about 4pm after gusting around from WSW to WNW. quite a bit stronger than the predicted 16-20 though, with likely low 20s avg and gusts into high 20s. got to be too much for the 7m after a good hour and too late to re-rig with the waning daylight hours. fun day afterall. |

Been getting one great midweek sup or sail in for the last 2 months without missing a week. Looking to see what next mid-week brings .... some wed SE blowing thru. But notice something tropical stirring. Not that a 9-day means a darn thing as to the track, but some surf to look forward to at least.
