Information Assurance Engineer

The Information Assurance (IA) Engineer is responsible to identify and ensure that all required Information Assurance (IA) countermeasures and mandates as identified in existing Department of Defense Information Assurance directives, policies, guidance and memorandums are made part of the design for development of a DoD research prototype project. The IA Engineer will be detailed oriented, organized, independent, and can multi-task. The IA Engineer will work with various internal teams and team members so effective communication, collaboration, and team work is essential for success. The IA Engineer will be responsible for documentation of a formal IA report for the project. The IA Engineer may also perform web prototype development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· The IA Engineer will be responsible to ensure compliance with any modifications, changes and updates to the aforementioned documentation.
· The IA Engineer is responsible for developing all required IA documentation.
· The IA Engineer will have 2 to 3 years Information Assurance experience.
· The IA Engineer will possess in depth experience of web-services based architectures, including Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIRED:
· B.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS:
· 1+ years experience with a HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as well as JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery
· 1+ years experience with JSON/REST web services development
