Some time ago I saw an advertisement and utube film of a very narrow board that was designed to be fast in light winds.
I do not remember the brand.
Can you provide me some leads? |

Why not buy a racing SUP board, add a mast track, and have the best of both worlds? |

I already have a Fanatic 11' SUP that carries a mast. Although a racing SUP sure has better lines, as does the Serenity.
I expect that it will be tough to find a Serenity anywhere near Phoenix, AZ. I will have fun looking. |

how about an old longboard? aka course board, race board. They are about 380 cm long, are fairly narrow and have a daggerboard. a la Fanatic Cat (ultra, mega), f2 lightning, starboard phantom, exocet R2D2, etc. |

There has been some extensive discussion about this board on the Hot Sails forum. |

I have the MK1 Serenity and a SUP with a mast track. They're two completely different boards for completely different styles.
The Serenity is awesome in super light winds but once it picks up to where it's hauling ass, you'll want it to jump on a plane as you can almost feel it getting there; but it never will. It's just not designed for it. It's a pain to gibe and it doesn't SUP well. It's a fun board but a very niche board. The MK2 has more volume and an extra smaller fin in the back. Never sailed one but I think it would be better than the MK1. |
