Look at rrd firemove.
I have the 100L and haven been sailing it since 2012. Really fun versatile board. Newer ones are 102 ...slightly different shape.

+1 for the Kode 94. That's the board I always sail in Cabarete with 5.0 to 5.8 sails. At my 185 (and even when I weighed 200+), the board is floaty enough to get to the wind line, and it seems to do everything well. Pops up on a plane easily, yet is sporty enough to not get too big so you can really keep the hammer down. I've tried lots of other boards down there, but I always go back to that one.

Update. After I decided that it will be wiser in the long run to replace my current 2 boards instead of adding a third one I jumped on the opportunity and bought a 110l AtomIQ to replace the Firerace although it was the FSW that I intended to replace first. This will have to wait till the note of disapproval in my wife's voice fades away in few months time Sad. I think the AtomIQ and one of the latest FSWs around 90L will be a nice 2 board quiver for 5-7.5 sails and it looks from your replies that the 94L Kode and FSW V3 will be the main competitors for my attention. Can anybody compare them?

I wouldn't know an AtomIQ from a hockey puck (never seen either), but the notes of disapproval in my wife's voice when I began drooling over yet another board or dedicated WSing vehicle went away for good once she realized how much this means to me. She saw the dedication and effort I poured into chasing wind and the excited animation in my behavior after a good day on the water, and realized this was a GOOD thing. Since she finally realized this is as important to me as her incredible career was to her, all I've heard is, "Isn't it time for a new quiver?", "If that board new board performs THAT well, why don't you buy it in a couple of other sizes to cover the whole range?", and "If it really adds something to your enjoyment of the sport, buy it. We can kick Mom out of the spare room if you need more storage space".

Only that very last sentence is facetious. No way in hell Mom would ever live under the same roof with us.

Instead of justifying the cost of a titanium fins screw and a new Formula board to put it in, demonstrate the excitement you get from a perfect day of sailing, part of which is being on just the right gear. Make it all about fun rather than about money. As the Dalai Lama actually said when a waitress in Taos, NM asked him, "What is the meaning of life?", "The meaning of life is happiness".

Who's she to argue with the Dalai Lama?

"The meaning of life is happiness "Nicely chosen Iso! Wise words from the great Dalai Lama as always! I think this is the right moment to end this tread. Thanks for your replies everybody!

Demo a Tabou 3s 96 liter. You can sail up to a 6.5 on it. Works best 5.8 and down. It seemed to me that as soon as my Atom 110 started to feel big, I could jump on the 3s and have a blast. Super smooth ride, gets going early and turns great. Mine is the C E D construction and it is very lite. No need for the more expensive LTD. Just a really fun board. easy on my old back....
