Raging, rock'n roll afternoon at Nahant this afternoon with Antoine, Irish Jerry, David, Matt, and one other (Fred maybe). 4.7-5.0s, but I heard that those that stayed later almost got blown off the water on 4.2s, with gusts reaching near 50. Waves were breaking, well, all over the place, and way out in the bay, but good for a couple of turns with the NNE wind. Antoine, the port tack master, was launching huge rocket airs and a few backies. I almost did my first back loop--would have been better if I was actually trying. Oops |
