I catapulted and caused a good size crack on my board where my knee hit. I repaired it with epoxy ding stick. I want to now sand it flush. Can anyone help me on this part of the process. What sand paper, wet or dry ? Any feed back will really be great. Thanks, Len

This is always hard for people to address without a photo. But since you say it's a crack instead of a ding, I'd first consider whether the actual repair is sufficient. In my opinion, ding stick is only good for dings, i.e., where the material hasn't been perforated and where strength isn't an issue.
But since it's a crack, I'd probably shore up the crack with some fiberglass fabric and epoxy, although I'm sure there are those who will claim this is overkill.

As far as sanding, you can sand it wet or dry, and start with 80 (or so) grit, and work up to about 200, although if it's a small area you could probably get by with patience and just 200.

It should be remembered that Ding Stick is generally considered a temporary fix until a more complete repair can be accomplished. Over time, I have found that you get the best results using Ding Stick when you don't sand it at all, since thinning it down by sanding greatly increases the chances that the fix will fail.

I think any sand paper in the 200 range should be fine

If you had punched a hole in your board the size smaller than a dime, ding stick works well. For an even smaller hole it could be permanent.

This is for sure "full repair" kind of damage. Do it right or you'll be filling up with water over time.
