I have a pair od dakine mitts with the thin grip material on the palm side. (not open palm). I like these alot...but is there something else out there similar ?
what other mitts are good...(minimal material on palm side..or stretchy)
My dakines are falling apart...if there is nothing out there i will get the same ones. |

As far as mitts go - I think the dakine are the best with the leather palms. They last the longest for me. NRS makes a wide variety of kayak gloves and mitts - check out their "Toaster Mitt". I purchased a pair of their pre-curved gloves for windsurfing a few years back but they are still a little too stiff for holding onto the boom (forearm fatigue sets in). Excellent quality gear however.

I've searched a bit and didn't find alternatives either to the Dakine. They work well for me anyway. |

At almost $10,000.00 I think they are a bit pricey. And it does not clearly indicate if that is for one or for a pair....
MSRP
$9999.00

I use the DaKines when it's super cold, but Neil Pryde makes some with a cut-out palm which allows normal boom feel, and still keeps you warm.
Much more fun to sail with....exposed palm, but your fingers stay warm _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=zw0MgkO7VXw |

You're here in New England, aren't you? They keep your hands warm through winter? |
