Sadly, notwithstanding the above nonsense, the new attorney general sounds as bad as the old one. She is another race baiter, who will turn off the electorate. She will protect the president instead of Americans. She will divide the country as usual under this president.
I actually like her demeanor. But her rhetoric is horrible.

Bard--you persist in using your own viewpoint to belittle the experience of those who grew up in this country and experienced racial prejudice. You continue to argue that we are in a post-racial society, ignoring all evidence to the contrary. You continue to argue that people who persist in battling government-sponsored discrimination like voting restrictions are race baiters. Who are you trying to convince, yourself?
There is an accurate term for people who persist in battling government-sponsored discrimination. Brave. |

Do you believe right wing hate groups like, the KKK, skin heads, neo nazis, militia, and so on are such victims of the race baiting attorney general. _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

Bard, seems to me that with Loretta Lynch's nomination to the US Attorney General position, divisive folks are zeroing in on any past African-American events that she participated in hopes that the can cast her in a negative light. I think that we all know that the nation as a whole recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of MLK's milestone efforts in support of civil rights. While it might not have been something that you wanted to happen, you can't deny the facts in the struggle for African-American civil rights and the importance of what was achieved for blacks.
I don't know if you've been watching the PBS show, "Finding Your Roots", hosted by Henry Louis Gates, Jr., but in some of its episodes it presents a insightful view of the actual history of ancestors of important black figures. What one realizes is that it wasn't that long ago that slavery, and a later Jim Crow environment in the south greatly affected the lives of generations of black Americans. Although the show most often highlights the determination and successes achieved by these families, there are events and circumstances that reveal the stark realities of slavery and the difficulties that African-Americans faced in those times. It might seem easy for white folks like us to look the other way and to want to ignore our not to distant past in America, it's difficult for blacks to see things the same way, particularly in light of the fact that racial discrimination still exists today.
Do us a favor and avoid highlighting the events being dug up by some hateful folks trying to present a negative picture of notable and successful African-Americans just because they might reflect on their blackness and the struggles that African-Americans face. I would hope that we would evaluate individuals like Loretta Lynch based on her record as a lawyer and a judge, and not as a civil rights activist as you seem to imply.

The Koch brothers.
Don't forget that Daddy Koch was a founding member of the John Birch Society.
Sons Charles and David have dad's DNA through and through.

maybe you missed a good old right wing time in Texas last weekend...
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/11/11/1344168/-White-supremacists-rally-inflames-Texas-community
Quote: | Just outside of Dallas, in Rockwall, Texas, a group of racists gathered at the courthouse over the weekend and tempers began to flare:
One planned protest in Rockwall turned into so much more as dozens of people came out on both sides of a hot button issue.
Police in riot gear stood guard Saturday evening as white supremacists rallied on the steps of the county courthouse against illegal immigration.
An odd coalition showed up to counter protest:
Several other groups, including Anonymous North Texas, the New Black Panthers, Occupy Dallas and Open Carry Texas, also gathered outside the courthouse to counter protest.
Fortunately for residents, hot tempers didn't bubble over into violence:
There were plenty of protesters, lots of shouting and a high volume of profanity-laced tirades during Saturday’s rally by the National Socialist Movement, but there were no arrests during the nearly two-hour event at the Rockwall County Courthouse.
After the rally, the racists took off to an undisclosed location for BBQ and a swastika lighting ceremony. Because of course they did. |

Today it is estimated that there are around 150 Ku Klux Klan groups in the United States with a membership of around 5,000. - |
to my point... again right wingers believe they are the victims... hahahaha loonie right wingers...

Quote: | When looking at the Ku Klux Klan, they have adopted this belief that they have now become the minorities in their “own country” that was originally founded by their white fathers. They view immigrants as an encroaching threat because an increased number of immigrants reduces their numbers as a proportion of the entire population and their supposed rights. They have adapted an extreme “us against them” and victim mentality. According to their website, they now believe that hate crimes are being perpetrated against the whites but the media does not cover them. |
http://huzlers.com/racist-kkk-christian-teen-dies-10-minutes-comes-back-life-says-jesus-black/
Quote: | ALABAMA – A young white Christian boy who briefly died on a surgeon’s operating table during a liver transplant this past weekend says he met Jesus Christ and he was Black.
Billy Landers, the son of a well-known KKK member in Mobile, Alabama, who was suffering from liver failure was technically dead for 10 minutes before being resuscitated. During that time the 13-year-old claims he visited the afterlife.
“It was all Blacks,” he told WKRG news after the ordeal. “There were a few white people, but they were just entertaining the black people, like playing basketball. There were lots of black angels watching them play basketball.” Landers said. “Jesus was also Black. “Jesus wasn’t white like Daddy says he is.”
“I asked my father ‘Why is Jesus a black?’ He couldn’t answer. I’d been taught that God and Jesus hated black people That God cursed them by turning their skin black. That they were ‘mud people.’”
Billy’s father said his son’s experience has not made him question white supremacy and an Anglo-Saxon Jesus.
“It’s kinda disturbing to me that he came back with stories of Blacks in Heaven,” he told reporters, “but clearly my son is suffering from some sort of schizophrenia or something. There’s no way Jesus is a Black I’m going to have my boy put on antipsychotics medications.” |

5000 KKK members in the US? Are you f-ing kidding me? That is a proverbial drop in the ocean dude. More guys than that go to prison each and every day. 350,000,000 people can't deal with 5000? How pathetic.
And Pueno, Koch daddy is dead isn't he? |

Yet you're worried about a few ISIS guys sneaking over a border somewhere...
(Makes one wonder who's pathetic...)

His spirit lives on with Charlie and Davie, closet racists with a zillion bucks to further their and Dad's social and political agendas.
