G/F is in Puerto Rico for 3 weeks.
Since Friday, it's been windy at Punta Las Maria's, and I assume, in Aquadilla also. Mostly 15-22 mph Easterlies.
I stayed home to sail in Berkeley (hard to believe, I know), but I like the weather here better than the tropics.

grandiose churches that showcase frescoes, stained glass, and architecture by Michelangelo and Matisse?Free. London’s top museums like the British Museum, Tate Modern, V&A, and others? No charge. Madrid’s Museum of the Blind and Paris’s Perfume Museum? You guessed it.

There is many on-beach equipment, but rather than buy it in rent you can buy your own one. If you buy one, it will be useful to you and others. Many types of equipment for children and adults are available. You can purchase it through online services like Amazon.

Just bought tickets to PR, staying in San Juan (Hillside), and Fajardo for mid Dec through early Jan again.
Wow, what high prices? Double from 4 year's ago.
Planning to sail the usual 7 Seas, Luquillo, Punta Las Marias, and Rio Grande area.
Hope I remember to bring another mast base.

Are you still planning on going to PR after the hurricane?

I am sorry to say, coming from a tourism perspective and having some experience with bad ass hurricanes, I doubt PR will be ready for tourism until mid winter. Just my humble opinion. Irma and Maria were severe storms. The damage is worse than we can even imagine.

Any good resources for the recovery in PR? Availability of fresh water, groceries, etc? I still want to sail Shacks this winter.

NW coast seems lowest priority right now. Downtown San Juan is mostly powered, and rest of PR is hit/miss parttime power or none at all.
I doubt outer areas will have power by spring. Big towns and med/gov buildings get priority. Even huge hotels don't get power until spring. Good luck finding info..

Found out today powered restored in Fajardo today. Hope it's still up around Christmas.
Now gotta return the solar kit, inverter, and cancel the battery orders there. Airline did'nt want to take the panels nor would they take even deep cycle marine gel batteries.
Some power in selected area of the nw coast, not all, nor in inland San Juan nor eastern areas.
Really hard to find where the power is up, and where isn't or intermittant.
