I found this promo at the end of an old instructional video from the gorge. Its pretty rough footage

I think that's "Coach" Jeff Hughes. I heard
he now runs the Naish store on Maui.

I just read Coach's obit. All I have to say is, "WOW!" I knew him as a Big Winds Hood River customer, but wasn't aware of his extremely impressive, much more extensive background and accomplishments. It sounds like the windsurfing and several other sports and personal worlds, as well as countless people, have benefited greatly from his talents, efforts, and personage. He earned the accolade, "kahuna" long before moving to Hawaii.
