Gee, what did I miss? Christie is not on trial and he didn't know about the issue until three days after it began. That's what mac's post said, assuming you read it.

Techno--I guess you missed the phrase "As it was happening." Or the sweetheart deal for the oil companies. Or the claim that Christie was a serious candidate (by many here). Or the news that Trump intends to put the founder of Lucas Oil at Interior if he is elected. Or the claims by others that pandering to big business--and bullying--is not GOP policy.

Mac,

OK, I missed the first quote. Clearly, it seems that the plan was made without input or the knowledge from Christie, plus "as it was happening" means what/when?

It was a really dumb action by a few guys, but it appears that all Christie did was lie about when he was informed. Dumb? Yes, so just how culpable is Christie and for what?

Techno--The people who arranged for the traffic jams as payback for the Mayor not endorsing Christie were not just some idle folks, they included two members of his senior staff and an appointee to one of the most powerful agencies in the State. It was an abuse of power far more aggregious than anything that Hillary has been accused of. Christie has been accused of such behavior often, and at the very least is responsible for an office climate where he has picked senior staff that are willing to carry out criminal abuse of power as a form of political payback.

Arranging a traffic jam is far more "aggregious" than jeopardizing national security, exposing herself to blackmail, possibly as President, deliberately ignoring State Department advice and protocols, lying repeatedly to the media, to the electorate and to Congress, deliberately destroying Federal records, taking many millions from people looking for favors, including foreign governments, hiding her poor health.........and on and on. What universe does he live in? Obviously they don't have spell check there......or good memories since he has been told how to spell egregious before. Dean must be the other resident.

Your accusations ring empty, as they are mostly on built on endless innuendo and supposition. It is telling that Hillary Clinton has never found guilty of any real wrongdoing that could be upheld in a court of law. Somehow, she escapes every time.

While Clinton might have made some judgments that could be criticized as outside what could be viewed as customary, I should point out that there are many Republicans running right now that want to radically shake up the status quo. One only has to listen to some of the outrageous things that Donald Trump is proposing to do.

wow so past your pay grade it is amazing you can even walk, much less windsurf.

One was an intentional act to do harm to another. The law recognizes this and in Hillary's case the FBI pointed out there was no intention. again ever sec of state had done the same. And Powell had been a top person in National Security, if a top national security guy does it who are you to decide otherwise. Note Powel with this knowledge recently sent emails that were hacked that appeared to have classified information in them, disclosing not only how many nukes Israel has but how they would use them. again Powel just did that when the issue of Hillary is how many years old. No one will pay you to think...

Ya the watergate guys only broke into a DNC headquarters no national security was at rist is your stupidity.

Gee oliver north was only doing things he thought were right for the country when he gave explosives to the ME which were used to blow up the marine barracks in lebanon. Gee reagan only gave Saddam chemical weapons he did not know they would be used on Iran...

Remember Christy badgering the media and doing his lie dance that it was ridiculous that people in his staff would have ever done something like that. That they have real things to work on.

And to think the right wing wanted to impeach a president for what the definition of sexual relations is.

Well we have trump now with his gifts to charity when they were court settlements he was to make personally and these are documented. Because his charity is public so are the tax records by law. and it shows several clear violation. Time for impeachment and jail unless he is above the law... The checks are shown in the article and are no question illegal from what the lawyers said if I was on a jury. It is just only how many years I would recommend...

Quote:
Donald Trump spent more than a quarter-million dollars from his charitable foundation to settle lawsuits that involved the billionaire’s for-profit businesses, according to interviews and a review of legal documents.

Those cases, which together used $258,000 from Trump’s charity, were among four newly documented expenditures in which Trump may have violated laws against “self-dealing” — which prohibit nonprofit leaders from using charity money to benefit themselves or their businesses.

You must have meant this definition of impeachment:

1.the action of calling into question the integrity or validity of something

and not this one:

2. a process in which an official is accused of unlawful activity, the outcome of which, depending on the country, may include the removal of that official from office as well as criminal or civil punishment..

Because Trump holds no office.

The coherent light seems a little diffuse to me.

let me give more light on the subject...

sorry impeachment because the trial will be held while in office should he ever be in office. These trials will not be settled before february...

Remember the right wing were going after the clintons for a land deal some 10 or so years before they took office. That's how it all started...

With trump we also have his wife who apparently was paid in the USA in the porn industry before she had a work visa and as such she will have her citizenship removed.

With trump we have a case filed against him before he ran for president for child rape with his friend who has been convicted of child rape.

With trump we have his existing business modeling that we have several girls who have come forward to say his agency was bringing in girls in their early teens and they had housing arranged for them and the trump organization was telling them how to lie to us immigration by saying they were visiting a friend or something like that.

and on and on.... the tax one above noted is just a slam dunk the check is now in the public and it was as stated by the attorneys illegal to use charity money for his personal penalties.

So as I said by the time these hit the trial dates and conviction if elected it is hard to say that when found guilty of raping a 13 year old there will not be impeachment...
