Very cool, I had seen it before and watched it again. As I tell my students--forces no longer in balance. This phenomenon, on a much larger scale, is what carved the Gorge. Some would say the retreat has nothing to do with human activities. |

I have been softly weeping at the event. However upon further thought, I'd been misled into believing there was no ice left on the planet. How many polar bears died in this tragedy? |

It was always said that if a butterfly flapped its wings etc etc.
Now I know why a severe gale demolished my garden fence last night. (It was only 20 years old too, and of the very best design.)
I'm extremely irate - but who, should my anger be directed against?? Somebody must be to blame. (Isn't that one of the great mantras nowadays!!) |
