Anyone try this new water hat:

They claim it's fine in strong winds but I'm worried the brim is too big.
I'm dubious about the "flip-lock" flapping about in stronger winds. |

Looks fine. The wires inside the brim will hold it at the angle you like, but you may have to readjust it after a head first crash Hopefully those wires don't rust. |

Dakine make a good one too, more bucket style with a plastic insert in the front. Good for thirty+, no flip up. It's called the Indo surf hat. I never hit the water without it. |
