I just returned from a trip up to the lake to check out the water level. Its at 40% and going down. It looks like a season lost. Its a long walk to the water. The only sailable location would be along the 5mph line at the point.
At this time the park is not allowing anyone to drive down to the water. You might want to try Rio or the Bay......Tony |

You'll have to start being careful out there, right in the middle of the main windsurfing area, at the bottom, is the remains of an old farm house (foundation only) along with the remains of an old sycamore tree (most of the branches have been cut, but not all) they will start showing fairly soon, fin busters for sure. Memories from the last time this happened, late 80's, and it went down to a stream in the middle of mud flats that time.
It may be time to start sailing up in the narrows (the point) to avoid that stuff. |

I camped there late August and I thought the water level was too low to sail. |
