Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone from Northern Alabama has decided to weigh in on ethical standards for youwindsurf's profession. http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/San-Francisco-archbishop-backs-off-on-strict-6099465.php

He seems to have missed this part of the scriptures:

"He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

But of course, that was the original, not the imitations.

When you gain a little more experience, you may come to realize that there is not an employer on the planet that encourages its employees to waste their time in frivolous activities which distract them from the work for which they are paid. Apart from that, you are correct, I have nothing.

You seem to be confused as to the issue at hand. It is not my employment, nor my employer, it is the falsehoods spread by Mr. O'Reilly.

Try reading my previous post, very slowly, several times. Then pause, think a little, and, who knows, the penny might drop.

Did you notice that the Archbishop is tone deaf? But very arch. Must have missed the past century or two.

Oh, Master Gybe, there you go again with your self-righteous superiority. You are so experienced and dominate. You know how hot that makes me! I so yearn to be near you so that I can drink in your vast knowledge and experience and completely subject myself to your superiority. Please Master, let me give all of yourself to you!

Perhaps, when you open your mind to the possibilities of employment that is beyond the context of a Monday through Friday, 9 to 5, W-2 wage earner, the penny might drop.

I would have activity monitoring software on any computers in my hypothetical company. Porn? You're fired here and now. Wasting company time? Shape up or ship out. Exposing my company to malware or even to spies by going to unapproved or frivolous sites, attaching portable media to company computers, taking company computers home, etc? Fired. Hacking another employee''s system even within the company? Formally reprimanded or fired, depending on the intent and potential harm. Using company resources for non-company business, hobbies, etc.? You might get one more try at being honest and keeping your job if the infraction was not too egregious. Tolerating any of the above as a middle manager? Back to the trenches, at best.

Oops .. my bad; that was NOT hypothetical. That's the way the Dept of Defense worked >30 years ago, and it's how any company of substantial size or public responsibility should be run today, especially considering the moral decay we've seen in those 30 years.

oh those glory days 30 years ago... if you look at a graph that is after 40 years of democrat control of congress ended and the right wing took over and destroyed the middle class and did the "reygun" trickle down concept, (I call it piss on americans) ... Yes the income equality change to the ultra rich in the last 30 years because of so called poor job creators has net resulted in slave wages, bet you would like to go back to those glory days when you could own a person and beat or lynch them for looking up when told to look down... them real glory prosperous days...

hey how about the 50s and 60s when the upper tax rate was 90 percent or so, oh them glory days...

Now extreme Lefty Pitts is once again accusing O'Reilly of lying ... > 30 years ago (Williams was still lying real time when he was canned). At least Pitts learned from his last attack, which failed to specify a lie, that he has to provide specific examples. Let's watch this story unfold; all we've seen so far is the accusations, without any proof. I realize that's all it takes to convince the Left, but I need proof even for emailgate. (Fortunately, Hillary admitted taking thousands of actions that are indisputably felonies according to Democratic law professors.)
