I use a www.FlyMount.com mount for the mast tip mount.
I also use their rubberized GoPro adapter which dampens some of the vibration.

Recording at a higher FPS for windsurfing is always best. Depending on the camera i'm using, i may film at lower resolution to take advantage of higher FPS (Frames Per Second).

When recording in higher FPS, you can slow down the video and not lose quality, which also reduces the appearance of vibration.

I also use the GoPro moisture absorbing inserts, i put two in the back of the case. I'm getting pretty long life out of them and no more fog problems.

Water spots on the lens, that's a different story. Still happens.

If you lick the lens cover just before sailing that really helps preventing water from clumping up on there and blocking the picture. Don't ask me how or why but it does work.
