Imagery: the NPH thrives, dies and then is reincarnated

Hi Gang,

Looks like the North Pacific High provides decent NW winds for the Bay Area today however the NPH is poised to die over the next few days so we see weaker winds.

However even as the present NPH dies a new far stronger NPH is born north of Hawaii and should arrive this weekend.

Of course all of this is from models and that many days in the future things get pretty iffy. But it does make a good story.
