Harness without the hook?

I'm in the market for a new waist harness after getting about 10 good years out of my current one. The shop where I bought all of my prior harnesses would always allow you to buy a harness without the spreader bar and just adjust the price accordingly (unfortunately they're no longer in business). The shops that I've contacted now all have said I have to buy the bar with the harness. I would really prefer not to have to buy another spreader bar. Besides the cost savings, I really have zero use for another hook style spreader bar. I use roller bars and they're all in fine condition.

Does anyone know of a manufacturer/retailer that sells waist harnesses without a hook?

ebay? I thought I was seeing a few manufacturers selling without the bar.

last time i shopped for a harness - many moons ago, bar was NOT included
now one needs to hunt %^&*

always thought the bar was based on personal preference and made sense to be sold separately !!
