Do you know where I could buy a set of the black plastic anti-twist plugs that hold the footstraps in place. My newly acquired well pre-abused Kode 86 came from Windance without them /Windance replied that they can't help me/.
The only two stores-Trident and Isthmus -that I've found stocking them are out of stock . It seems that both the Starboard ones called K9 and the regular ones will fit.

Did you "google" it? They are available from a few sellers. JP and fanatic footstraps come with the anti twist in the strap itself, doesn't work.
Look at my anti twist video from tips and tricks to see how you can use their system if you have any.

Works only with two-screw inserts. They'll twist with just one screw without some sort of anti-twist system underneath.
I really like the Starboard plate coupled with straps that have anti-slip it works great.
This is how I fixed my twisting issues regardless of the board and straps:

That's what I think will happen. I have a set of Core Contour straps and the anti-twist plates that come with them but I've always used them in combination with the spiked ones underneath. I can order from Europe but it will get expensive . I'll use the spiked plates from my slalom board /which won't sell any time soon it seems/ until I find some solution-like the one I read somewhere about applying glue on the underside of the footstrap and letting it dry to create a better friction / another use of my favorite Aquaseal maybe?! /
....or just glue them right on. This board is in such a poor "B" condition, half of it is gone soft -I doubt it will last more then a season .

Aquaseal has some give to it, the little teeth don't hook into the wrapping neoprene, they bite into the strap belt inside, that's what prevents from twisting.
This is why I don't understand having the teeth pointing into the pad as it's not strong enough to withstand the torsion.

I use bigger screws and "bottle-cap" spreaders and set my drill driver on 20. No more twist as long as I keep 'em tight.

ideally then - should footstraps go back to using two(2) screws ??
(on each side of strap - obviously)
NO twist then !!

And then there is the "red neck" method. On an old Tiga, I used Barge cement and glued them down. Worked great and when I removed them to put new straps down, they came off easily and didn't take any of the foam deck with them.
