Look at swell forecasts for PSC. I wish I booked again for this time this year. |

That does it. This forum needs a trip to PSC. Let's meet at Malibu's, jump in my truck, and head down this fall! |

Which way is the break? Right or left? |

Not sure I am the best to answer that. I would say right break, but it sure seems like you can ride it back a lot to the left. The Chili bowl was either way as it sort of was a point break when I was there. Although the point was a bit hairy for my level. The Beach break or well into the bay to the South were both pretty user friendly.
Bring a weed fin! |

Apologies. I was being facetious. Thank you for the response which was more worthy than mine! |

1st summer in years that you probably won't need a weed fin because water temps have been in the mid 60's. Just got very cold last 3 weeks, so that kelp may grow fast.
PSC breaks right from just about everywhere. |

Arroyo is so much closer, but don't tell anybody.
Another awesome day today, 4.7, just mast high, no higher. |

NW How friendly is Arroyo for beginner/intermediate wave sailing? I found I could sail in relative comfort from the first day at PSC. And, in 8 days, we only missed one day on the water. It would save 5 hours of driving.
The beauty of PSC is that those of us that only get occasional wave sailing can have a great time (East Cape Baja and the Gorge swell does not count). Once you are there it is impossible to spend money! |
