Maybe another advantage to paying double digits for boards. Very Happy

I don't care if someone on port "takes the high line" on me, but, dude ... do it from the get-go so I know your intent and can give it to you, rather than trying to steal it at the last minute. Sad

Always look over your shoulder before jibing. Early in my career, I was following a sailor and was just behind and downwind of him - blind spot (I know better now). He jibed and I T-boned him and he wound up with a pretty bad cut on his leg requiring many stitches. No gear damage.

Now, it I can't pass upwind, I will bare off considerably to pass fast and out of the way downwind.
