I am thinking about getting a new slalom board for the Bay Area, something to take out at Crissy/Coyote and Stick.

I am 70 Kg and this would be the "high wind" slalom, used with 6.6 (which is a good size for my weight) when B&J can be down to 5.0. Candidates are:

Isonic 97 (or 90, but might be to small)

Patrick 100

Any other suggestions? Who sells Patrick in the US?

Why so big?
You and I can uphaul 82 liters, so that is the minimum size for your high wind slalom, since you already own a light wind slalom board. Your 111, with a 6.5 sail, can plane up in 14-19 mph wind speeds, and go full speed at 18mph wind.
No bigger than 94 would be my call, easy floater and easily able to carry a 7.0 sail and up to 28 mph winds.

The threshold of the Isonic is probably lower than 14 and I do have an 8.0. But the board I am looking for has to be bigger than my current (disintegrating) Carbon Art 58 wide. That is nominally 98L, but they run small and it is a sinker with a 6.6 multi-cam, not sure at all I can up haul it!

Size wise I am looking at a 62-64 by 230-235, that currently takes you to 95-100L board. I put the "high-wind" in quotes because it would not really be out in anything more than an equivalent 5.0 for B&J in places like Crissy or TI or Coyote (I am not into suffering and slalom gear in 4.3 conditions is just too much for me in the Bay Area!). It will be the go to board for powered up 6.6, rigging down to B&J 5.0/4.3 if it gets too much.

Thank you for the Delta Windsport #.

Check out the Tabou Manta:

98 liter is 61x240
106 liter is 66x233

Tabou has really upped their slalom game. Last year taking 4th in PWA men's and 1st in IFCA men's.

I definitely recommend the Exocet RS3. 100liter board.. It's narrow enough to handle strong winds but fast enough for all around at your size.
I have one if you want to give it a try. http://www.exocet-original.com/rs.php

Hard to pass up a deal like that. And another one to discuss with Derek. He carries Exocet as well as Patrik. And, of course, he is the test editor for Windsport Magazine.

Thank you for all the info, they are all very good suggestions. although I think I am falling in love with 99novenove. I know, it is brand new, but the team is world class (Cesare Cantagalli, Finian Maynard, Pascal Toselli) and the 95 (235 x 62) looks just too good www.99novenove.com

Nice looking board!
Shape looks very RRD or Tabou.
Size is in line with what I just ordered, 62 wide, 40 tail, to complement my 65 wide, 43 tailed light wind freeride.

For high wind slalom board I would highly recommend Patrik SL 92. It sails very smooth, almost like freeride board, it doesn't feel small even for me at 210 lbs and can be sailed with very wide range of sails. I had 7.8 on it few times and it works surprisingly well. Can't go wrong with this one. Delta Windsurf sells Patrik boards or contact Jason Voss at JRV Wondsurfing. He is distributor for Patrik in USA.
