I think in the last few years....stuff like the streaming AWT from Hookipa and all that have enabled people to see that good wavesailing involves a lot of schlogging
Photo magazines never really showed that.....
Careful editing doesn't show the crashes or misses either....good people crash too

Agreed. One of the things I really like about watching the streaming is you get to see the skill the pros exhibit when punching out through whitewater, tacking, catching waves. Watching them tack in particular is really inspiring to me.

I thought the same when watching "La Torche" live, It was interesting to see the pros in side-on conditions. Out here, I try to watch them, particularly when going out on bigger days but it can be tough.
The slogging is definitely something I would have never thought of when first watching wave videos.
Any suggestion for music?

Good point. I remember watching that in Hookipa and commenting to Jason Voss about how they were shlogging 80 liter waveboards in no wind. He said "They shlog for a living."

Manual - Awesome video. I've always enjoyed your videos, but now we can enjoy your humor also. Two thumbs up!
One day, I watched the pros at Hookipa during an April photoshoot day for like 6 hours. To be honest it was the very best windsurfing video I have ever seen. I was in control of the camera and I noticed two things, pro windsurfers are more human than I thought, but also more widely skilled. They are really fantastic watermen (and brave).
