We'll be in Cape Cod for just two nights at the end of July. Would like to stay in a town, where we can park at the hotel and walk to the town, the beach, etc. Don't plan on windsurfing. Advice on which town and where to stay? _________________ Brian S

Chatham’s a good choice, and so is Wellfleet near Mayo beach. Check out Aunt Sukies and the Holden Inn, also Inn at Duck Creek... |

Thanks All. Just booked the Old Harbor Inn. Everything for the last week in July was booked, so lucky to get this I guess.
Restaurant recommendations or must-see/do's in Chatam? ... other than Chatam Wind and Time of course. _________________ Brian S

Fish and Chip at the Chatham Squire, The Orpheum theater is very close to the Old Harbor inn for night time or rainy day... http://www.chathamorpheum.org/?cat=2
The Chatham "A's" base ball is just down the street from you as well.
I really like Delmar http://www.delmarbistro.com/
Visit to the Chatham Fish Pier is a must. Good seal watching right from the visitor deck. Sitting on the front porch of the Chatham Cookware on a sunny morning and having a breakfast sandwich does not suck.
Chatham Candy Manor for a chocolate covered apricot or strawberry is a good call!
Basically Chatham is a killer walking town with really good shops and restaurants.
The Squire's website... http://www.thesquire.com/
It is worth just having a beer at Chatham Bars Inn. They have a Spa that my wife frequents. I don't even want to know how much that all costs! _________________ www.Clew-View.com

Definitely Del Mar for dinner. Plus they are one of the few spots that take reservations, but book well in advance. |
