a book such as this, full of pictures, would be inordinately expensive to print, particularly in light of the limited audience. But I am working on a major rehab of the website right now, and may put all of that onto DVDs down the road

Hi Eva,

Thank you for this incredible resource! After I discovered it many years ago, board repairing became my fav hobby for some time. One of my larger-scale projects involved redoing the whole bottom of badly delaminated Starboard Acid. I still find something new each time I browse the site. Many, many thanks!

Any wonder I haven't found this site? The US windsurfing community is nomadic and lacks cohesion. Especially here in NorCal. Instead of a strong community of generalists we have specialized cliques that can't even have a decent swap meet. The only thing I admire about the EU is their love of windsurfing. Very few US based sites.

The boardLADY site is indeed amazing.

Reading a variety of threads will broaden your thoughts, and others often mention Eva's site.

I see your location near San Fran, I lived on Sherman Island, and they still didn't consider me a local.

How are the conditions in the UK? The EU has basically taken over the windsurfing scene. Best riders, shapers. They don't even use the same equipment. Seems more active and alive over there. Thanks!

Windsurfing is alive and well in The UK AND EURO countries.

I disagree with the best riders, shapers, et all of your post, but that's for another day.

Their are some brilliant boards coming out of Europe, part of the equation is cost, labor materials.

Iam in central COLORADO.

90% of visitors to my site are from Europe, most link through windsurfing clubs. I wonder why those aren't more popular here in the US: places to store your gear. near launches that are the club's; with events, sailing as well as social; and with beginner classes. What a wonderful concept!!
