Hello!
I am in Corvallis for the summer month and want to windsurf at the gorge as often as possible.
Regrettably I don't have an equipment with me. Would be great if somebody would rent out or sell some stuff. I weigh about 155 lb. Freestyle/wave stuff prefered.
Thank you for you support.

This Sunday's swap meet is your friend, with 2nd Wind and Windance consignment gear close behind. Stuff here is dirt cheap; you could quite likely find very functional, maybe even very good, board, fins, mast, boom, and 3-4 sails for a TOTAL of well under $200 (EXCELLENT and pristine wave boards are readily available for < $100 ... as low as $5 from the CGWA for world-class wave boards such as Maui Projects, Goyas, JPs, carbon Tigas). Add $20 for a nearly new wetsuit from CGWA at the swap meet or $60 at 2nd Wind and you're in business. If you want the lightest and latest carbon this and the widest that, your total price may surpass a thousand bucks ... an iffy investment in this sub-par wind season. Or you can rent 2015 gear. Lots of options ESPECIALLY if you catch the swap meet at Luhr Jensen/the waterfront in Hood River this Sunday.

Thank you. The swap meet is a good chance for me. Hopefully it is a windy weekend.
What is a sub-par wind season??

Yup. Shows what forecasts mean. Same thing happened at the last swap meet I attended. Lousy forecast, travelers stayed away, blew hard, nobody on the river for hours despite the hot wind.

Hi. I have a Naish wave 8' x 21" for sale at $125 (no fin, no bag)
Good condition. I'm 155 pounds and use sails 4.7 and down on it.
Old school shape. Fast and stable in the chop. Footstraps are new.
I'm at the Wall today but will travel back to Hood River tomorrow or after tomorrow.

Let me know what you need after the swap meet. I have some gear I would be willing to let you have. Fins, a boom. Universal and down haul.
