This Saturday Aug. 22 will be the final stop of the inaugural Crissy Field Slalom Series. The Kona boards are back from the Nationals in Cabrillo Beach and the Kona class had some serious competitors and fun.

If you're interested in demoing a Kona, come down on Saturday between noon and 3pm and give it a try. If there are enough sailors interested, we can have a Kona class for the races that start at 3:30.

The remainder of the Kona boards and rigs are available for purchase at a reduced price. Come and get them. I know I am.
More details to follow but please let us know if you're interested so we can be a bit more prepared.

There will definitely be some great deals to be had on the Konas and the Kona rigs due to the varied conditions of these Demos. In general, they are all in pretty good condition. Come our tomorrow and check them out. It should be a nice day for Kona Cruising in the shadow of the Golden Gate.
It should be very safe tomorrow as the afternoon incoming flood is very mellow.

I've already had some amazing Kona sessions in SF Bay and I'm looking forward to taking advantage of the lighter winds as the season is winding down.
The Kona trailer is leaving tomorrow so please contact us asap to grab a great deal on one of the remaining boards and rigs if .
Please contact me at jrathle@sbcglobal.net if you're still interested.
He's one of my adventures on a Kona is SFBay.

it was a 9.0 . As per the Kona one design rules, since I am under 98Kilos, that is the biggest sail for my size. Although that only applies when racing in their Kona one design class of course.
It's nice to be powered on the Kona as it will plane and it can carve a planing jibe. |
