I have an old Wave Tiger Pro I intend sailing at the coast. Any comments on how these boards compare to what people are using now? Is this a true wave board or more of a freestyle wave. Thanks for any insight.

Wave Tiger Pro is an old Rob Wymore design prior to the current (though now many years old) designs. Predominantly for the gorge but works in waves. Harder to sail then the newer boards--plenty turny but doesn't plane off as fast or easily and less forgiving of putting weight in the wrong spot. By no means any freestyle to it. But a super fun board--I loved mine prior to getting the new design. And I have found the boards ultra durable---hit the sweet spot between light and sturdy
