According to peeps in Puerto Rico, this has been one of the windiest spring/summers ever, like the old days, when PR was considered the "Maui of the Carribean.

They have indeed been getting a very steady dose this year in PR.
iWindsurf's best station in San Juan has been constantly pegged!

What zirtaeb said applies here in S Texas also. Well, except the Maui part. Usually our spring is windy and summer light. Complete opposite this year, with a bleak spring and the windiest summer I remember in 12 summers here.
Now come on, Danny, send us some waves! Smooth peeling ones with no damage, like our last tropical system.
